The owner of MVCS is Mike Taylor, a fifth-generation Oregonian, born and raised in Albany. Mike graduated cum laude from Oregon Institute of Technology in 1988, then immediately went to work for Hewlett-Packard Company in Corvallis. His 17-years with HP included 3.5 years at HP's European Marketing Centre in Germany, and another 10 years performing server and database administration of HP's Worldwide InkJet production infrastructure based in Corvallis.
